Encuentro Nacional e Internacional Preparatorio
¡Llamamos a los
pueblos del mundo
a alzarse contra el G20!
El 30 de
noviembre y 1ero de diciembre 2018 se reunirán en Argentina los Jefes y Jefas
de Estado del Grupo de los 20 (G20). Estos países representan
el 85% del PBI global, dos tercios de la población mundial y 75% del comercio
internacional. De estos números deducen la legitimidad de este foro y el
derecho de imponer sus políticas a todos los pueblos del mundo. Ahora, sabemos
que esas políticas son las principales causas de la crisis económica, social,
política y ambiental global que vivimos, y los responsables son quienes las
avalan. El reciente acuerdo con el FMI, para preservar los intereses de quienes
se llaman acreedores, es una expresión genuina de las políticas del G20 para la
Argentina y el mundo.
No es casual que
la cumbre se haga en la
Argentina. Vivimos un momento histórico en el cual el G20 e
instituciones financieras como el FMI luchan por un reordenamiento mundial para
superar la crisis del capitalismo. Hallan en el gobierno de Mauricio Macri a su
representación genuina e imprescindible. Cuenta con sustento electoral y su
agenda es la de las grandes empresas transnacionales y del capital financiero y
especulativo. Ahora, la cumbre del G20 no es sólo asunto del pueblo
argentino, ni de los 20 cuyos gobiernos conforman este grupo de
poderosos defensores del capital. Los pueblos de todo el mundo están llamados a
levantar sus cuerpos, voces y puños en contra de este foro donde se define el
rumbo del mundo, el futuro de nuestro trabajo, de nuestros bienes comunes y de
nuestra vida en esa tierra.
Cabe mencionar
que la seguridad para la realización de la Cumbre del G20 se cumplirá
militarizando el país, comprando armamento y equipamiento “antidisturbios” y de
defensa aérea para disciplinar las protestas sociales en alza. Del presupuesto
total del G20 de 3 mil millones de pesos más de un tercio estará destinado para
“seguridad y defensa”. Pero aún más, durante los días de la cumbre el gobierno
argentino entregará el control sobre la seguridad directamente a las fuerzas
represivas de los países centrales, como EE.UU., Inglaterra, Alemania, Francia
e Israel (que ni siquiera participa del G20).
Es por eso que
desde los pueblos de todo el mundo tenemos que organizarnos para
hacer escuchar nuestro rechazo a las políticas del G20 que traen
pobreza, hambre, destrucción y explotación masiva. No necesitamos más fronteras
cerradas, más muros levantados, más deuda que pesa sobre la espalda de
presentes y futuras generaciones. Necesitamos buena educación y salud pública,
trabajo de buena calidad en condiciones adecuadas, necesitamos que se respeten
los derechos humanos y los derechos de la naturaleza. Necesitamos
un mundo que funcione con otra lógica.

los Líderes del G20 a la Argentina y el avance de sus políticas en el planeta,

nuestra creatividad para ponerle fin a un sistema que excluye, explota,
destruye, contamina y mata!

y a
favor de la vida!

Call for National
and International Preparatory Meeting
We call upon the
peoples of the world to rise up against the G20!
On November 30th
and December 1st 2018, the Heads of State of the G20 will meet in Argentina Argentina
It is not a coincidence that
the summit is taking place in Argentina. We are living in a
historical moment in which the G20 and financial institutions like the IMF are
working towards a global re-ordering of the system to overcome the crisis of
capitalism. The found the representation of Mauricio Macri’s government both
genuine and essential since it enjoys electoral support and favors the agenda
of multinational corporations and financial, speculative capital. However,
the G20 summit is not only an issue of the Argentinian people or the
peoples from these 20 countries, whose governments stand as powerful defenders
of capital: it is an issue that concerns the entire world. This is why
we call on peoples from all over the world to raise their bodies, their voices
and their fists against this forum where the fate of the world is decided
without us, as well as the future of our work, of our common goods and our life
on this Earth.
It is worth mentioning that
the security measures taken during the G20 Summit will lead to the fulfillment
of militarization in our country and the buying of weapons,
"anti-riot" equipment and air defense to discipline rising social
protests. More than a third of the 3 billion peso budget dedicated to the G20
will be allocated to security and defense. What is more, during the actual days
of the summit, the Argentine government will hand over control of security
directly to the forces of major countries, such as the USA , England ,
Germany , France and Israel
That is why we need to organize ourselves from all the territories of the world to make them hear our rejection of the G20 policies that brirg about poverty, hunger, destruction and
massive exploitation. We do not need more closed borders, more walls raised, more debt to be carried by present and future generations. We need good education and public health, better work under adequate labor conditions. We need human rights and the rights of nature to be respected. We need a world that works with a different logic.
To prepare for the arrival of the leaders of the G20
in Argentina and the advancement of their policies on the planet, the NO G20
Assembly together with other organizations convened a National Preparatory
Meeting on August 31st at the Faculty of Social Sciences (in
Santiago del Estero 1029, CABA) Classroom HU400 from 10am to 6pm and an
International Preparatory Meeting on September 1st, in the same location,
from 10 am to 5 pm.
